In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family. I like the outdoors and walking the coastlines and Dartmoor. I enjoy charity work and have completed a sky dive and four half marathons. I enjoy listening to music and meditation. I am a spiritual person and have a natural Intuitive nature. I am very open to other people’s views and religions.
Why did I choose to become a counsellor?
I have always been a natural listener and through personal life experiences and challenges I wanted to be able to offer more to others. I felt the timing had to be right and when I embarked on training and personal therapy I could really see and feel how the impacts of self awareness changed my life. I was feeling passionate about applying this and putting it into practice as, I wanted to help others discover parts of themselves, that they felt where missing or by limited beliefs and pre conditioned ideas when they are struggling to find a direction. Sometimes we can be stuck and not feel there are options to change. Counselling has lead me to feel motivated and created a more positive, purposeful life.
Counselling to me is more than just a career I thrive on the ability to help people better their lives.
